Payroll Services and Tax Forms

Image: Tax FormContinental collects all hourly time sheets via Fax with your authorizing signature. We provide weekly payroll checks that can be picked up at our office or mailed. However many of our employees elect Direct Deposit, which is free to you and the employee. Continental handles the payment of all employee taxes and insurances and files all Tax Forms required by the IRS for all employees contracted to your company. This includes include:


I-9s-
(Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9) Federal and appropriate State tax withholding forms

Employer payroll taxes- Social Security and Medicare (FICA), and federal and state unemployment (FUTA and SUTA)

Workman Compensation Insurance Premiums

Employee deductions of garnishments, such as Child Support Payments

Continental HR Specialists dedicate their time to understanding and administering this area, so you don’t have to. We review and compare Health Insurance Plans, 401(k) plans and other types of employee benefits annually to ensure that our contract employees get the best plans for their money.

Often legal questions arise in the employee benefit area. Continental has access to expert legal advice that can usually answer HR Benefits questions at no additional cost to our clients.

You are able to design your benefits plan around your objectives at a cost you can afford. The benefits Continental offers include:

 

Health/ Dental Insurance Coverage

Blue Access PPO Anthem Blue and Cross Blue Shield Traditional Plan with Rx (prescription) coverage.
Lumenos Health Savings Accounts A High deductible health plan qualified to be attached to a Health Savings Account (HSA). This is provided through Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
Dental Coverage Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
Essential Health Care Policy A limited coverage insurance program designed specifically for part-time or temporary employee, providing the employee a $5,000/year benefit at a reasonably low cost. There is no eligibility requirements and a very short waiting period for coverage – less than a month.

Additional Employee Benefits

Flexible 125 Plan This plan allows employees to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for qualifying medical, dental and vision expenses.
Voluntary Short-term and Long-term Disability The option for employees to purchase disability coverage through OneAmerica.
Term Life $20,000 of Term Life and AD&D Insurance at no cost to Full-time eligible employees. Option to purchase up to an additional $100,000 at group rates.
Supplemental Financial Compensation AFLAC offers supplemental financial compensation paid to an employee when he or she gets hurt or misses work.
401(k) An option for employees to save money pre-tax for retirement. Employees are eligible to join the 401(k) Plan after 90 days of employment.
Vacation 1 to 3 weeks is commonly paid—per customer requirements .
Paid Holidays Eligible employees receive six paid holidays per year (New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.)
Personal Days Eligible employees receive 2 personal days (Bereavement, Sickness, etc. after 1 year's employment)
Employee Discounts A range of discounts for a variety of purchases and events including GM cars, Six Flags tickets, etc.
Direct Deposit Payroll can be deposited directly into an employee’s account.

Travel Coordination and Expense Reports

Some of our clients require their contract employees to travel extensively. Continental assists these companies by issuing the employee a Continental Credit Card and processing their expense report. These expenses are included in the monthly invoice, saving the customer time and hassle.
