Our Staffing Services include:

Contract Employees:

The Contract Employee works at your facility and is supervised on a day-to-day basis by your company’s staff. In today’s outsourcing business models, any type of job can be and is often performed by a contract employee. Many companies today use contract employees to augment their core staff in functions such as engineering, design, administrative, IT and even sales.

Temporary Staff:

An easy, short-term and flexible solution for any staffing problem. Essentially the same as Contract Employees, these Temps are brought in to meet your short-term needs, often for a specific project or to fill in for an employee on leave. Originally used primarily as replacements for office or light industrial workers, temporary staff now includes a broad range of skills and occupations.

Parents taking a few years off of their career paths are often highly skilled and available to fill in for short periods of times or to accomplish a specific task. In addition to the traditional non-specialized temp worker, Continental can also provide these highly skilled types of employees who are available to add their knowledge and experience to your company on a short-term basis.

Temp-To-Perm:

A chance to “try before you buy”. Temp is a common abbreviation or colloquial expression for "temporary worker." This trial temporary worker may become a permanent employee of your company. Many companies hire a temp worker for 3 to 6 months or more and then bring them on as a permanent employee after they have thoroughly proven themselves. Some companies think of this type of arrangement as a really long job interview!

This system is also very flexible. If one temp doesn’t work out, Continental will replace him or her at no additional cost to the company. You can keep the employee on temporary status for as few or many months as makes sense for your company. You get the best of both worlds.

Direct Hire:

Often called, “head-hunting”, this process usually requires more extensive work in the up-front Sourcing process. Often the candidates you need are employed and not actively looking for a new position. These passive candidates take more work and “hunting” to locate (hence the term “head hunting”).

Once you have selected the right candidate, Continental assists you in salary and benefits negotiations and mitigates the all too prevalent “back-out” factor resulting from a counter-offer from the candidate’s current employer. Skilled in negotiating these minefields, Continental assists you in closing the deal and getting the employee you want. A one-time fee is charged for this service, payable after the employee starts. This service comes with a 90-day performance guarantee.
